Art World Women encourages submissions from all female identifying artists/writers/curators who would like to have their work considered for inclusion in a future feature, article or socials. Whether you are an emerging artist or established exhibited artist, or a curator with a woman focussed project we would love to hear from you. We specifically focus on Australian and International artists. We are interested in featuring artists in a variety or formats including articles, written word, video, audio interviews and we love all kinds of arts practice be that multidisciplinary, new media, painting, sculpture, performance, dance, drawing, film or photography.
We are constantly looking for exciting artists and new work. At AWW we appreciate you taking the time to engage with us. We also love it when you recommend other artists you love to us. When artist support each other, great things happen!

Just post your work to Instagram with the hashtag #artworldwomen and once a week our editor Claire selects some of her favorites for our weekly AWW Wednesday. Let’s share the work across our growing social media following!
If you are contacting Art World Women to inform us of an upcoming event or exhibition, then please email us giving full details and attaching associated files.
Submission guidelines:
Please send your submission to artworldwomen [at] gmail dot com
The following information is required:
- Subscribe to Art World Women
- Email address, first name, last name, and country of residence.
- In the message area give a short artist statement and link/s to your website and main web presence where we may view your entire portfolio
- Please do not send file transfer requests or download links. We will request these if we need further information.
- Attach 3 of your favourite images, each file may not exceed 3Mb and must be at least 1500 x 1500px. We may request more images if AWW goes on to feature you and your work.
- If you wish to submit an essay or article, email us a title and paragraph summary. If approved, articles should be a minimum 600 words and up to 2000 words max.
- All individuals that submit their work to Art World Women will be added to our email subscription list. This will ensure you are kept up to date regarding latest news, events, projects other relevant Art World Women information.
- We take your privacy seriously, so your personal information will never be shared with any third party without your express permission.
Please note: Due to the large volume of submissions we receive it is unfortunately not possible for us to respond to each individually. - We encourage you to recommend 3 other women/female identifying artists to Art World Women. Share the love!
